Unlocking Truth

Reality is not always connected to Truth because it is filtered through personal perception. Strive to remove the veneer that colors through experience, ingrained memories, and perception, until Truth breaks in and frees your soul. Reality is the plank in the eye that so often blinds us to the Truth, because it wants us to see according to the corresponding positional, cultural, and temporal relationship it has with us. It is by default "soulish" in its nature, and it often wars against the spiritual, because it attaches us to this world, and calls us to walk by sight and not by faith. The higher calling and the "Way" does not ask of us to ignore reality, but it does demand that we refuse to call it what it isn't...Truth. The Light broke through into time and space, but we still love to cling to darkness. He walked among us in the reality that we created, and was not sullied by it. He suffered our mistakes and took on the punishment for our transgressions. He understands pain because He has experienced it, and in no way minimizes the difficulty of the journey. In greatest humility, He laid down Divinity to become our peer, and in so doing, made a Way back to Himself for all that would accept the Truth which is Life. The courage of faith, which some would call foolishness, stands in the tension between unseen Truth and experienced reality. It reaches for the hope that can only be grasped by those who see through the eye and not with it. "and you shall know the Truth and the Truth shall set you free"... Truth is not because I believe. Truth is, and I believe it because my eyes have been opened to it. The pride of this age would have you think otherwise, by misusing the gift of freedom as in the beginning, grabbing for ourselves what was always intended to be freely given.
