THE MIRACLE OF NORMAL

Those that argue against the existence of the miraculous by seeking explanations in the natural, fail to recognize the mystery and wonderment of design in origin and causation. The beauty and precise orchestration of everyday life in nature, consistently plays out its symphonic movements for all to witness and enjoy. The cycle of the waters, the precision of planetary orbits, the dance of life in the rain forests, and the miracle of procreation, each to its own kind, humbly proclaim the majesty of their Creator by simply being. To those with no spiritual eyes, who irreverently and illogically seek to use "science" in an attempt to disprove the reality of a Creator solely by following the thread back to the needle's eye... I ask...Who do you say threaded the needle? Would you consider it a logical conclusion that there is no need for the existence of a father, just because you have deciphered how a baby grows in a mother's womb?

Some who hold to the naturalistic world-view have become so adamant in their quest to disprove any transcendence, that in their efforts to do so, they have blinded themselves from the fact that they have grown more dogmatic then their religious counterparts. In their effort to eradicate religion, they have succeeded in creating a new one. The great irony here, is that science in its purest form is the search for truth, and in that search, it will eventually have to bow down to Truth when it comes face to face with Him. Resist the urge to be blinded to the wonder of Love's perfect design, even when disrupted by imperfect choice.

Resist the urge to look for "signs and wonders" as proof of the supernatural, when all you simply have to do is notice what you daily take for granted. The intricacy of the inner ear, with which we are held in physical balance to our own movements in relationship to our surroundings. The beauty of a welcoming smile, or an understanding gaze in a moment of emotional need, with all the nuances it conveys without a word being uttered. Life itself is a miracle, and the normal is extraordinary, but it can lose its luster becoming a casualty to ts own steadfast consistency. When confronted with the "boredom" of the normal, remind yourself that every breath that you take is an underappreciated miracle. Remind yourself that your consciousness and ability to think and question is an undeserved gift. You were created by Love, and He who made you in His image, and holds your very existence in the palm of His hand, has given you the freedom to reject His existence, at least for the time being... that is perhaps the greatest miracle of them all.
